Piknik People Studio’s entry makes it to the semi-finals in European Social Innovation Competition

Piknik People Studio is among the 30 semi-finalists picked by the jury from 565 applications.

The vision for Soull Cell Systems

Soul Cell System is a digital learning and co-development platform that allows students to participate in real development projects and to earn study credits and money in the process.

Young people feel left out and disconnected from the development of society and decision making. There is a decline in trust to public institutions and in belief to have an influence in decision making.

At the same time, companies and organisations are finding it difficult to involve young people in their co-development processes in an effective way and lack the suitable channels and tools for that. Co-development results in better products, reduced risk, and deeper understanding of customers but it is often hard to do.

Soul Cell System is a digital platform and a turnkey solution that provides easy-to-use digital tools, templates, and project specific content for conducting co-development projects with young people.

On Soul Cell System, companies, organisations, and young people can meet on more equal terms and work together. This is an opportunity both for the organisations in need for customer and user feedback and for young people who feel left out and yearn to have a voice, relevant work experiences, and inclusion.

The 2021 edition of the competition, ‘Skills for tomorrow’ is looking for scalable social innovations that will contribute to job creation, growth and European competitiveness by helping people, businesses and industries identify, develop and strengthen the skills that will power the European economy’s green and digital future.

The winners will be announced in December 2021.
